I work as a nail and hair stylist in Vancouver, and I found it really disappointing that they refused to open a membership account with my English-translated certificate, while they seem to open accounts for anyone, even those who aren’t professionals. This feels more like a way to take people’s money than to support real beauty professionals, especially since other beauty supply stores do accept international certificates.
On top of that, their staff are not very knowledgeable, and the products are low quality. For example, I purchased a cat-eye magnet and when I opened the box, one of the heads was missing.
